In a powerful initiative aimed at making a difference in the lives of families affected by domestic violence, Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with the Safe Family Justice Center in Temecula for the New Home Basket Initiative. Providing new home bins with essential items to support brave individuals, leaving an abusive environment with nothing but what is on their backs. The Safe Family Justice Center, known for its unwavering dedication to assisting domestic violence survivors, offers multiple services and programs, including shelter, safe planning, court preparation, and resource mapping. Their commitment to empowering individuals and families serves as a beacon of hope in the Temecula community. The journey of healing from domestic violence is both deeply personal and universally challenging. Survivors often carry the weight of their experiences long after they’ve exited the abusive situation. However, when healing trauma, there are pathways to recovery that lead to resilience, growth, and empowerment for these individuals. Hello Subaru of Temecula helpful staff helped assemble 40 bins filled with essential items. Each bin contains carefully selected necessities, including dishware sets for four, cleaning supplies, toiletries, a four set of towels, a blanket, a hairbrush, laundry detergent, hand soap, a “You Are Loved” sticker, and a candle to bring warmth in their new safe space. These items are designed to provide comfort and practical use to those starting anew. Hello Subaru of Temecula arrived at the Safe Family Justice Center facility to deliver the 40 bins. SFJC was beyond grateful for these bins and knew the impact these bins would have on so many families in need. The Hello staff were given a tour, learning more about the vital work being done to support domestic violence survivors. Marshall Hamilton, the Supervisor of SFJC, shared the impactful statistics and the significant difference that SFJC has made in the community in the last year. They have served over 3,851 victims, including 954 individuals under the age of 18, and provided 36,856 services. The center helped file over 1,130 restraining orders, accompanied 166 individuals to court proceedings and encouraged 217 youth to join their support programs. Help create safer and healthier communities for all. Through their partnership, Hello Subaru of Temecula and the Safe Family Justice Center worked together to help address the urgent needs of domestic violence survivors. By coming together to support these families, they offer not only material assistance but also fostering hope for a brighter future for many individuals. Hello Subaru of Temecula is proud to be able to make a real difference in the community.
