The all-new 2026 Subaru Trailseeker is available now at
Hello Subaru of Temecula,
Subaru’s most capable EV yet — think of it as the electric answer to
the Outback. It pairs standard dual-motor all-wheel drive with real
towing capacity and trail-ready ground clearance, built for Southern
California drivers who want Subaru’s outdoorsy DNA without a gas
engine. Explore our Trailseeker inventory below and get answers to the
questions we hear most from Temecula-area shoppers.
The Trailseeker is a brand-new midsize electric SUV — Subaru’s second
EV alongside the smaller Uncharted, both joining the existing
Solterra. Where the Uncharted is built for city driving and offers a
front-wheel-drive option, the Trailseeker is the outdoorsy sibling:
every trim comes standard with dual-motor AWD, 8.5 inches of ground
clearance, and a 3,500-lb tow rating — genuine off-pavement capability
other electric SUVs in its price range typically don’t offer. It’s a
strong fit for Temecula drivers who want to tow a small trailer to Lake
Skinner or head up to Idyllwild without giving up an EV powertrain.
The 2026 Trailseeker is available in three trims, all sharing the same dual-motor powertrain:
| Trim | Horsepower | MPGe (Hwy/City) | Key Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | 375 hp | 107 / 126 | 14″ touchscreen, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, heated front seats, dual wireless chargers, 18″ wheels, EyeSight |
| Limited | 375 hp | 103 / 125 | Harman Kardon audio, 360° surround-view camera, 20″ wheels, heated rear seats, power hands-free liftgate |
| Touring | 375 hp | 103 / 125 | Panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, two-tone paint option |
EPA range is up to 281 miles on Premium’s 18″ wheels; Limited and Touring’s larger 20″ wheels bring that down slightly. See our current Trailseeker inventory above for trim-by-trim pricing.
Every Trailseeker produces a combined 375 horsepower
from its dual-motor setup, with Subaru citing a 0-60 mph time of about
4.4 seconds — genuinely quick for the class. It shares its 74.7 kWh
battery and native NACS charge port with the
Uncharted, giving direct access to the Tesla Supercharger network.
Subaru rates DC fast charging at up to 150 kW, enough for a roughly
10%-to-80% charge in about 30 minutes. Behind the second row you get
31.3 cubic feet of cargo space, expanding to 74 cubic feet with the
seats folded flat.
Every 2026 Trailseeker comes standard with Subaru’s EyeSight Driver
Assist Technology across all trims. As an all-new model, official IIHS
and NHTSA crash-test ratings were not yet published as of this
writing — check with our team for the latest results, or visit the
IIHS ratings page
