The 2026 Subaru BRZ is available now at
Hello Subaru of Temecula
— a rear-wheel-drive sports coupe built around steering feel and
balance rather than raw horsepower numbers. It’s one of the last
genuinely affordable, driver-focused coupes left on sale, and a
favorite for Temecula drivers who want something entertaining for the
backroads without giving up daily usability. Explore our BRZ inventory
below and get answers to the questions we hear most from
Temecula-area shoppers.
Subaru dropped the entry-level Premium trim for 2026, so Limited is now
the starting point — which raises the entry price by roughly $4,000
but means every BRZ now comes with the fuller safety and feature set
that used to be Limited-exclusive. The bigger news is a new
Series.Yellow special edition, limited to just 350
units, replacing last year’s Series.Purple. Based on the tS, it wears
Sunrise Yellow paint with 18-inch matte-black wheels and carries the
same STI-tuned suspension and upgraded Brembo brakes as the tS.
Every 2026 BRZ shares the same engine and rear-wheel-drive layout — three trims differ in tuning and features:
| Trim | Transmission | Key Features |
|---|---|---|
| Limited | 6-speed manual or automatic (+$850) | Red interior accents, only trim offering the automatic transmission |
| tS | 6-speed manual only | Blue interior accents, STI-tuned suspension & chassis bracing, upgraded Brembo brakes |
| Series.Yellow (350 units) | 6-speed manual only | Sunrise Yellow paint, 18″ matte-black wheels, tS suspension & brakes, yellow interior accents |
All trims: 228 hp, 184 lb-ft torque, 2.4L Boxer engine, rear-wheel drive, standard Torsen limited-slip differential. See our current BRZ inventory above for trim-by-trim pricing.
Every BRZ makes 228 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque from a
low-mounted 2.4-liter Boxer engine, routed exclusively to the rear
wheels through a standard 6-speed manual (an automatic with paddle
shifters and rev-matching is available on Limited only). Quick 13.5:1
steering and a Torsen limited-slip differential are standard across the
lineup. With the manual, EPA estimates run 20 city / 27 highway / 22
combined MPG; the automatic actually does slightly better at 21 / 30 /
25, thanks to lower cruising RPMs.
Every 2026 BRZ comes standard with automatic emergency braking,
lane-keep assist, blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert,
and adaptive cruise control. Worth noting accurately: the BRZ earned
an IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ award when it was redesigned for the 2022
model year, but it does not appear on IIHS’s current 2026 winners
list — low-volume sports cars often aren’t retested every cycle under
updated criteria. Check the
current IIHS Subaru results
for the latest status before relying on a specific rating.
