The all-new 2026 Subaru Uncharted is available now at
Hello Subaru of Temecula,
Subaru’s smallest and most affordable electric SUV yet. It’s a genuine
first for the brand — the base Premium trim is the first front-wheel-drive
Subaru sold in the U.S. in decades, built for buyers who want an
efficient, city-friendly EV without giving up the option of Subaru’s
all-weather AWD. Explore our Uncharted inventory below and get answers
to the questions we hear most from Temecula-area shoppers.
The Uncharted is a brand-new subcompact electric SUV that completes
Subaru’s three-model EV lineup alongside the Solterra and Trailseeker,
slotting in as the smallest and least expensive of the three. It’s
built on the same platform as the Toyota C-HR and shares much of its
engineering, but only the Subaru version offers a front-wheel-drive
option — the Toyota doesn’t. For drivers who want Subaru’s traditional
AWD capability, the Sport and GT trims deliver it with a
segment-competitive 8.3 inches of ground clearance, useful whether
you’re navigating a rainy commute through Murrieta or heading toward
Idyllwild for the weekend.
The 2026 Uncharted is available in three trims, all on a shared 74.7 kWh battery:
| Trim | Drivetrain | Horsepower | EPA Range | Key Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | FWD, single motor | 221 hp | Up to 308 mi | 14″ touchscreen, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, dual wireless chargers, heated power driver’s seat, EyeSight |
| Sport | AWD, dual motor | 338 hp | Up to 287 mi | X-MODE with Grip Control, water-resistant StarTex upholstery, heated steering wheel, 360° surround-view monitor |
| GT | AWD, dual motor | 338 hp | Up to 273 mi | Panoramic glass roof, Harman Kardon 11-speaker audio, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, 20″ wheels |
Range is lower on AWD trims due to the added motor and, on GT, larger wheels. See our Uncharted model page and current inventory above for trim-by-trim pricing.
Every Uncharted uses a NACS charge port, giving direct
access to Tesla’s Supercharger network in addition to other NACS-compatible
stations. Subaru rates DC fast charging at up to 150 kW, enough to go
from 10% to 80% in as little as 28 minutes. An 11 kW onboard charger
makes overnight home charging straightforward for daily commuters.
Every 2026 Uncharted comes standard with Subaru’s EyeSight Driver
Assist Technology, along with Traffic Jam Assist for low-speed
hands-free driving and DriverFocus distraction mitigation. As an
all-new model, official IIHS and NHTSA crash-test ratings were not yet
published as of this writing — check with our team for the latest
results, or visit the
IIHS ratings page
directly for the most current status.
