Providing Warmth and Hope to the Local Hospital

Hello Subaru of Temecula is a place where it’s more than just a place to buy cars; it was a hub of compassion and kindness for the community it served. Inspired by the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, Hello Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. LLS connected Hello Subaru of Temecula with a local hospital called Loma Linda University Medical Center. Hello Subaru has connected with LLS and Loma Linda in the past and has built such an excellent relationship for the past five years. The team at Hello Subaru was dedicated to giving back to the community and ensuring that every cancer patient felt supported throughout their challenging journey. Hello Subaru displayed information about LLS and Subaru Loves to Care® in their showroom. They invited customers and community members to participate by writing messages of hope on blank hearts, which would be given to cancer patients along with blankets and kits. They wrote touching messages of hope, knowing their words would comfort the brave patients at Loma Linda. “You are not alone,” “Your strength inspires us all,” and “Sending you love and healing” were just a few of the heartfelt messages etched on the blank hearts. Loma Linda was equally excited to highlight Subaru Loves to Care® and its impact on their hospital. They hosted a special event to celebrate this beautiful partnership. During the event, they gave the Hello Subaru staff a hospital tour, sharing how Loma Linda University Medical Center provided invaluable resources and support to cancer patients: over 80 blankets and ten patient care kits. Hello Subaru has donated over 400 blankets and 50 patient care kits in the past five years. The hospital staff expressed gratitude for their partnership and the donated blankets and kits, knowing that these simple gestures provided much-needed warmth and relief to those facing cancer. Subaru’s commitment to helping cancer patients didn’t stop at Hello Subaru and Loma Linda, dealerships from all over America are the largest donor to LLS, and their support reached nearly 300,000 cancer patients nationwide. This was a testament to the power of collaboration between a caring community and a dedicated corporation. Throughout the partnership, Hello Subaru and Loma Linda continued to work hand in hand, spreading love, hope, and support to those who needed it most. The blankets, infused with warmth and compassion, became symbols of a community united in its efforts against cancer. In honor of Subaru Loves to Care® and their unyielding commitment to the fight against leukemia and lymphoma, Hello Subaru’s compassion towards the community helps strengthen the unity and hope these patients need.
