The price you see should be a price you can actually buy the vehicle for.

We don’t charge for nitrogen in our tires — and we never have.

You choose the products and protection options that make sense for you.

Your Personal Client Advisor can explain everything before you decide.
What Is the California CARS Act?
The California Combating Auto Retail Scams Act
took effect October 1, 2026. It creates new rules for California dealerships
around advertised pricing, add-on products, financing, trade-ins and qualifying
used-vehicle transactions.
At Hello Auto Group, we believe buying a car should already be clear.
You should understand what you’re paying, what is optional and what you’re
agreeing to before you sign.

Key Changes You Should Know

Vehicle pricing should make it easier to understand what you’ll actually be expected to pay.

Optional products should be clearly identified so you can decide whether they make sense for you.

Dealers cannot charge for certain products or services that provide no meaningful benefit.

Important financing terms and costs cannot be materially misrepresented.

Trade value and how it applies to your purchase should be clear.

Qualifying used purchases include additional cancellation protections.
Don’t Pay for Something That Doesn’t Benefit You
You’ve probably seen it before — a vehicle is advertised at one price,
then hundreds of dollars are added for
“nitrogen-filled tires.”
California’s CARS Act restricts dealers from charging for certain
add-on products or services when the buyer receives no meaningful benefit.
At Hello Auto Group, we have never charged customers for nitrogen
in their tires — and we never will.

A restocking fee may apply as permitted by California law.

Mileage and vehicle-condition requirements must be met.
Know Before You Return
California’s statutory cancellation protection is not an unlimited return policy.
