This holiday season, Hello Subaru of Temecula proudly participated in the 32nd Annual Spark of Love Toy Drive, an initiative that has brought joy to countless children across Southern California for over three decades. Hello Subaru of Temecula recently partnered with the Salvation Army in Murrieta to participate in an inspiring community event: the Duel at the Dealerships. This friendly competition brought together 12 dealerships, each striving to donate the most toys to the Salvation Army's annual holiday toy drive, ensuring that children in need experience the joy of the season. The winning dealership will receive a trophy, but the true reward lies in these donations' impact on local families. Last year, the Salvation Army made a difference for over 1,000 children; they aim to meet or even surpass that milestone this year. Hello Subaru of Temecula embraced the challenge with heart and determination, rallying their team, customers, friends, and family to join the cause. Their collective effort resulted in donating over 250 toys—a remarkable achievement that embodies the holiday spirit. When the Salvation Army arrived with a U-Haul truck to collect the toys, they were impressed by the generosity of the Hello team and the community. The donation boxes were a testament to what can be accomplished when people unite for a shared purpose. The Salvation Army expressed their gratitude and shared how these toys would bring smiles to the faces of children who might otherwise go without this holiday season. The Hello Subaru of Temecula team awaits the competition winner's announcement in February. Still, the true victory is knowing that their efforts have made a difference. This event has ignited a renewed sense of purpose within the team, inspiring them to continue finding ways to support their community. "Knowing that these toys will bring happiness to so many children is the greatest gift we could receive," one team member shared. "This experience has shown us the power of coming together for something bigger than ourselves." The Duel at the Dealerships is more than just a competition; it's a reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and the holiday spirit. Hello Subaru of Temecula is proud to have played a role in making a difference. It encourages everyone to find ways to give back during the holidays and throughout the year. Together, we can brighten lives and strengthen our communities, one act of kindness at a time.

At Hello Subaru of Temecula, giving back isn't just part of the job—it's a heartfelt commitment to the community. This year's "Hello Gives Thanks" event marked a special moment in that mission, as the team united to provide over 105 complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Each meal included all the essentials for a festive holiday feast: turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole ingredients. Key partnerships made this initiative possible. Hello Subaru collaborated with local non-profits this year, including the Michelle Place Cancer Resource Center, Safe Family Justice Center, and Veterans Village of San Diego. Together, they reached cancer patients, families affected by domestic violence, and veterans facing housing challenges, ensuring that each received not just a meal but also hope and support. The event was thoughtfully organized over two impactful days. On Monday, Hello Subaru of Temecula transformed its parking lot into a single-lane meal pick-up

There is always an air of excitement and anticipation when there is an Operation School Bell Shopping Event offered by the Assistance League of Temecula Valley®. Students from K-12th grade whose families qualify for the event are able to choose up to $125 in school clothing. Many of these students never have the opportunity to shop for an entire outfit, or to pick out clothing that helps them fit in with their peers. Because of a generous donation of $39,034 from Hello Subaru of Temecula, the Assistance League was able to clothe an extra 312 students this year which included children living in the local Domestic Violence Shelter as well as Rancho Damacitas, an organization supporting single moms who were once in the foster system. The Assistance League works closely with school personnel to insure that the neediest of families are served. In filling out an Exit Interview, more than 90 percent of the families indicate that the saving this provides to their family will be used for food, utilities and or rent. It is heartwarming to know that we are reaching out and making a difference in children’s lives. We value our partnership with Hello Subaru of Temecula and are very grateful for their support of this program.

At Hello Subaru of Temecula, we believe in more than just selling cars—we believe in making a lasting impact in our community. Hello Subaru was honored to partner with the Assistance League of Temecula for the Operation School Bell initiative this year. This event touched the lives of over 2,000 low-income students across five school districts: Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, and Romoland. Thanks to our Share the Love initiative, Hello Subaru raised over $39,034 to support this incredible cause. The Subaru team met with the Assistance League of Temecula at Kohl’s in Murrieta to volunteer and help with this initiative. Each student was given a $125 allowance to spend on brand-new clothes. For many of these children, it was their first experience selecting and wearing new clothing, and the joy on their faces as they left the store was genuinely heartwarming. Operation School Bell isn’t just about clothes; it’s about giving kids a fresh start and a boost in confidence as they head into a new school year. By partnering with the Assistance League, Hello Subaru helped these students confidently step into the school year, knowing that their community stands behind them. Hello Subaru of Temecula are deeply inspired by initiatives like this, which reminds them of the importance of giving back. Hello Subaru of Temecula and Assistance League of Temecula can create a brighter future for the youth, one small gesture at a time. They are proud to be part of such a meaningful cause that strengthens our community and to be a dealership that cares about making a difference.

In the city of San Diego, we have more than 8000 students experiencing homelessness. As all school districts are experiencing, we here at San Diego Unified School District Office of Children and Youth in Transition, are in an era of budget cuts and have been worried we wouldn't be able to provide our students with basic needs, like backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene items. But Hello Subaru of Temecula really came through for us. Before school started, they delivered truck loads of items they knew we needed, including hundreds of backpacks, binders, school supplies, and more. We went to work preparing and distributing backpacks full of supplies so our students experiencing homelessness could start the year off on the right foot! With the help of Hello Subaru of Temecula, we were able to hold multiple Back to School events where families could come get the supplies their children need to be successful in school. We are so grateful for the support of Hello Subaru--they really saved us this year!!

This year, Hello Subaru of Temecula continues its dedication to education by partnering once again with E. Hale Curran Elementary School for the Subaru Loves Learning® - AdoptAClassroom initiative. The goal is to spark a love for learning and provide crucial resources to the hardworking teachers who play such a vital role in shaping young minds. Hello Subaru of Temecula reached out to E. Hale Curran Elementary, sharing the exciting news of their support. The school invited Hello Subaru to make the announcement to the entire school, during their flag day assembly. On the day of the event, Hello Subaru of Temecula’s General Manager, Magaly Rivera, took center stage and proudly announced the Subaru Loves Learning® initiative. In her speech, she stated, “This partnership reflects our commitment to being more than just a dealership—we are dedicated to supporting our local schools and making a meaningful impact in our community.” Highlighting the six boxes of essential school supplies and a $3,000 donation to benefit 150 students and support six classrooms. With 92% of classrooms nationwide include students whose families cannot afford basic school supplies, forcing many teachers to cover the cost themselves. Hello Subaru’s contribution goal was to help alleviate that financial strain and ensure both teachers and students had the resources they needed. One staff member from Subaru who volunteered for the event was particularly moved, being a father of four children who had all attended E. Hale Curran Elementary. Seeing Subaru continue to give back to the school his children once attended brought a sentimental and personal connection, showing just how much the initiative meant to the local community. The partnership between Hello Subaru of Temecula, E. Hale Curran Elementary, and the Subaru Ambassador reaffirmed a shared commitment to breaking down barriers and empowering students through education. Together, they are helping build a brighter future filled with endless opportunities for young learners.

Hello Subaru of Temecula recently donated 100 backpacks to students at a local Middle School, thanks to the generosity of a few vendors, customers, and employees who came together at the last minute to make a difference. What started as a simple idea became much more meaningful when General Manager Magaly Rivera took the backpacks to a special place—her 12-year-old daughter's middle school. Upon their arrival at the Middle School, the staff members welcomed Magaly, her daughter, and the Hello staff. The surprise donation brought so many smiles! Rosalind A. Hamilton, the School Community Liaison Coordinator, couldn't stop expressing her gratitude for the generous gift. She was incredibly thankful for the support that would impact the school's less privileged students, ensuring they had the necessary supplies to start the school year strong. Rosalind took the time to explain to Magaly's daughter just how important their donation was. She shared that nearly 59% of the school's students are economically disadvantaged, and many face challenges in acquiring even basic supplies. This act of kindness would help foster care and homeless children by providing them with school supplies and a sense of hope and belonging. The visit to the school revealed the depth of Rosalind's commitment to the well-being of the students. She pointed out an area in her office filled with food and clothing thoughtfully kept on hand for children in need. This small yet vital resource reminded me of the hardships some students endure and how every bit of support—whether a backpack, a meal, or a pair of shoes—can make a world of difference. The experience was incredibly heartwarming for Magaly Rivera as it allowed her daughter to be part of something bigger than herself. She expressed how proud she was to teach her daughter the value of giving back, and how meaningful it was to make a difference in the community where they live, work, and go to school. At Hello Subaru of Temecula believes in more than just selling cars; it believes in "Hello Gives Back," a commitment to uplifting the communities it serves. By involving its employees, customers, and families in acts of kindness, it continues to impact the lives of those around it. They remind us that giving back helps others and teaches the next generation about compassion and generosity.

Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with the Temecula Valley Unified School District and San Diego School District for their annual Back to School - Backpack Drive. Thanks to the community, vendors, and staff, this year's event was a success. The dealership received an impressive number of donations, allowing them to provide over 680 backpacks and over 3,600 items of school supplies to students across both districts. Each school district provided a school supplies wish list and Hello was able to get the school necessities for these students. The Temecula Valley Unified School District, which serves 26,562 students in grades K-12, was the first to receive their donation. The district's staff were surprised and happy to see the 280 backpacks and 2,400 school supplies—including pens, pencils, rulers, colored pencils, crayons, and lined paper—delivered to their students. With 60% of the district's students identifying as minorities and 18.3% facing economic disadvantages, this donation was crucial in ensuring all students have the resources they need to succeed. The second delivery was made to the San Diego School District, specifically to their Children and Youth in Transition program, which serves homeless, foster, military, refugee and immigrant, juvenile students, and migrant youth. San Diego Unified School District is the second largest in California, and around 60% of the student population comes from low-income families. This district serves over 112,000 students, with many facing economic challenges that can impact their academic performance and self-esteem. The CYT staff were beyond grateful to receive these donations, especially after receiving the news that they had a budget cut, and must rely on donations only. Hello Subaru of Temecula donated 400 backpacks and 2,000 items in school supplies – including 1" binders, spiral notebooks, composition books, glue sticks, markers, #2 pencils, dry erase boards with markers and erasers. Research consistently shows that students with the necessary school supplies perform better. A study revealed that 75% of teachers observed improved classroom participation and academic performance when students had supplies. The National Center for Education Statistics also found that students from low-income families with the necessary supplies are less likely to miss school, leading to lower absenteeism rates. Hello Subaru of Temecula is proud to contribute to the success and well-being of students in their community. Providing new backpacks and school supplies helps level the playing field for students in need, ensuring that every child can succeed. This year's impressive turnout surpassed the previous year in the number of backpacks and the abundance of school supplies donated. The impact of these donations goes beyond the classroom; they help foster a sense of belonging and willingness to learn, boosting students' confidence and engagement. As Hello Subaru of Temecula continues to support these school districts, they are not just donating supplies but investing in the future, one backpack at a time.

As a mom and General Manager of Hello Subaru of Temecula, I’m constantly seeking ways to bridge the gap between my work and personal life. I believe in helping others at work and home, which led to one of the most meaningful moments I’ve experienced. We received a last-minute donation of 100 backpacks. I didn’t expect how deeply personal and impactful this gesture would become. A few weeks ago, thanks to the generosity of our vendors, customers, and even some of our own employees, we found ourselves with 100 extra backpacks from our Backpack Drive—something we didn’t initially plan for. Looking at them, I thought about where they would be most needed. That’s when it hit me: my daughter’s Middle School could benefit from these backpacks in ways we couldn’t imagine. I wanted my 12-year-old daughter to see firsthand what it meant to give back, and I wanted her to experience the power of community. So, one morning, my daughter and I loaded the backpacks and headed to her school. She was excited but didn’t fully understand the impact of what we were about to do. When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm, smiling faces of the staff. I’ll never forget the look on my daughter’s face as she began to realize that this was more than just dropping off school supplies—this was about making a difference. We met with Rosalind A. Hamilton, the School Community Liaison Coordinator, who immediately expressed her deep gratitude. She shared with us how many students face serious economic challenges, with nearly 60% being economically disadvantaged. That hit home for me. Rosalind explained how these backpacks would go to children who desperately needed them—many of whom were in foster care or were homeless. Hearing her describe their struggles made me realize how fortunate my own daughter is and how important it is to recognize the needs around us. Later, Rosalind invited us into her office. She had shelves stocked with food, clothing, and other essentials for kids who didn’t have access to them at home. She explained that she tries to ensure that these kids have school supplies and the basic necessities that help them feel safe and cared for. Watching my daughter listen to her, I could see the wheels turning in her mind. She was beginning to understand that small acts of kindness, like donating a backpack, could ripple outward and change someone’s day—or even their life. I was so proud of my daughter in that moment. She asked questions, wanting to know more about how the school helps these kids and how we could continue to be involved. It’s one thing to tell your child about the importance of giving back. Still, it’s another thing entirely for them to experience it firsthand. I felt so much joy knowing that she was learning this valuable lesson in such a personal way. For me, this experience reinforced something I’ve always believed: giving back is not just something we do at Hello Subaru of Temecula—it’s who we are. We believe in supporting our community through donations like this or simply showing up where we’re needed most. More importantly, we’re committed to teaching the next generation that they can make a difference, too. That day at the Middle School wasn’t just about delivering backpacks. It was about showing my daughter the importance of compassion, the power of community, and the joy that comes from helping others.

Military Women's Collective (MWC) is a local Southern California nonprofit whose mission is to combat the loneliness and isolation that military women and women veterans feel after they leave the military. We do this by hosting networking and connection events designed to these bring brave and amazing women together to experience the same feeling of camaraderie they had when they were serving in the armed forces. Jessica at Hello Subaru reached out to Marina Rabinek, Founder and President of MWC, earlier this year to inquire about hosting an event for women veterans. The date that was decided upon was June 12th, fondly know as Women Veterans Day, or the anniversary of the date the President Truman signed the Women's Armed Services Integration Act into law allowing women to serve as permanent and regular members of the military. 40 military women and women veterans experienced a full day of pampering and relaxation from the Grapeseed Spa at the South Coast Winery and Resort thanks to the sponsorship of Hello Subaru's philanthropic initiative "Hello Gives Back" and MWC is incredibly grateful for the support! To donate to MWC and assist us with our mission, head to https://www.militarywomenscollective.org. THANK YOU!

On June 12th, Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with The Military Women's Collective for the first-ever Women in Military Appreciation Event at the Grapeseed Spa. The event aimed to show appreciation to the women who have served our country and acknowledge their sacrifices and contributions. This date marks the anniversary of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent military members. The Military Women's Collective mission is to help servicewomen nationwide who are transitioning out of the military, ensuring they get connected to other women veterans in their community to prevent loneliness and isolation. They provide support, education, and advocacy to women veterans, active-duty servicewomen, those transitioning out of the military, and those who are homeless. They are committed to providing the resources, programs, and services to ensure veterans have the support they need. A total of 40 active-duty and veteran military women enjoyed their choice of a pedicure, manicure, or custom massage, followed by a delicious lunch. Each participant also received a gift bag as a token of gratitude. Hello Subaru gave them the opportunity to relax and feel recognized for their dedication to serving our country. This special event allowed these brave women to come together, share their experiences, and realize they are not alone. Many discovered they had served in the same divisions or held similar job titles, rekindling old connections and creating new friendships. The event highlighted the importance of camaraderie and building a supportive community for women in the military. The General Manager, Magaly, admired the event and the inspiring stories shared. "It was an amazing event to be around these women and hear their stories. Being a woman in the military sounds challenging, and I'm so happy we can help make these women feel special". The Military Women’s collective also recognized the challenges faced by women in the military. These include higher rates of mental health conditions such as PTSD and depression, concerns about homelessness, and limited access to gender-specific healthcare and support services. Additionally, sexual harassment and assault remain a significant issue, severely impacting mental health, career progression, and overall well-being. Marina Rabinek, the founder and CEO of The Military Women's Collective and a former Navy veteran, shared her thoughts on the event: "Makes me so proud that there are women her that maybe haven’t been recognized and haven’t been given the respect that they deserve and that is what this day is for, Women Veterans Recognition Day" The Women in Military Appreciation Event was memorable, honoring these courageous women who have done so much for our freedom. Hello Subaru of Temecula and The Military Women's Collective look forward to continuing to work together to support the active duty and veteran military women in the community. Hello Subaru of Temecula hope they continue to be recognized, appreciated, and empowered.

On the day of the event, Hello Subaru of Temecula staff arrived with Subaru Loves to Help boxes filled with over 108 coats. The Hello team helped set up the event, ensuring the coats were ready for families to pick out their new winter coat. Witnessing the excitement and gratitude of the families was a moving experience for everyone involved. "This partnership is about more than just providing coats; it's about giving children warmth, confidence, and a sense of hope," said a coordinator from Project T.O.U.C.H. "Working alongside Hello Subaru of Temecula has been a pleasure. Thank you for making a true impact in the community." The collaboration between these three organizations exemplifies the power of community and compassion. Together, they are not only addressing immediate needs but also fostering a sense of unity and support that can inspire us all. Through initiatives like these, we are reminded that every act of kindness counts and that we can all contribute to making the world a warmer, more caring place.

On May 7th, 2024, Magaly Rivera, Jessica Menendez, Samantha Morrow, and Kevin Oehler, four members of the Subaru Auto team, presented Assistance League of Temecula Valley with a very generous check from the Share the Love campaign at our May meeting and luncheon. The money is designated for this year's Operation School Bell Program which begins in August and runs through October. More than 300 children will receive new school clothing thanks to this year's donation from Hello Subaru of Temecula. Each year, ALTV works with the school districts in Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Menifee and Romoland. Students from low-income families are identified and invited to come to Kohl's or Target on designated evenings for dressing events. The school age children, with the help of their parents, shop for $125 worth of tax-free Back to School clothing. Last year, with a donation from from Subaru's Share the Love Campaign, ALTV dressed over 1,800 young children in our five school districts. We could not have helped so many people without the support from our wonderful Community Partner, Hello Subaru of Temecula. The stories the families share with us during the dressings are truly heart warming. Here is a small sample. We were able to dress a high school senior one afternoon before he was to go to a banquet that evening for an award he was receiving, He didn't have appropriate clothes so our team helped him find slacks, a shirt, tie, and shoes. He left feeling confident in his new clothing. We had a mother surprise her daughter with the shopping event. The young teen didn't know why she was in line and then found out she was getting new clothing! She was very excited. A sweet surprise from her Mom. We were informed of a family that had to leave their home because of a flood and mold issue. The father was very ill and in the hospital and the mother was trying to keep the family together. We reached out to this mom and set up a time for her children to come and get new clothes. One of the questions on the exit interview at the end of each dressing is, "How will you spend the money that has been saved by shopping today?" The three areas that are checked 95% of the time are, help with food, gas, and rent. Assistance League of Temecula Valley members are deeply grateful to our community partner, Hello Subaru of Temecula, for supporting Operation School Bell and improving the lives of so many young children. Teachers tell us that when the students wear their new clothes, they feel more confident and ready to learn; they are more willing to participate in classwork and discussions. Thank you to our generous partners, Hello Subaru of Temecula!

With an average wish cost of $10,000, the funds raised through initiatives like the Trailblaze Challenge are vital in ensuring that every child gets their wish granted. Furthermore, the 300 children currently in the wish process in San Diego and Imperial Counties are a touching reminder of the importance of continued support for organizations like Make-A-Wish. Hello Subaru of Temecula; they take pride in their role as more than just a dealership. They are deeply rooted in our community, and our commitment to giving back is ingrained in everything we do. Whether supporting initiatives like TBCSD or collaborating with vendors like Source Group and Hello Subaru is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of those around us.

I had the privilege to champion the second annual Wellness Day Event hosted by Hello Subaru of Temecula in partnership with Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center, I found myself deeply moved by the strength and resilience of the women in attendance. My day began with helping set up the venue, ensuring everything was in place to provide a truly rejuvenating experience for the 40 incredible individuals impacted by cancer. The event took place in South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, a beautiful location for these amazing women to truly feel relaxed. I witnessed firsthand the joy on the faces of the participants as they were given the choice of a custom massage or a pedicure, followed by a healthy lunch and full access to the spa amenities. But it wasn't just about pampering; it was about providing a much-needed escape from the struggles of cancer. Each participant received a butterfly-themed gift bag, put together by Subaru volunteers, containing items to uplift their spirits and remind them of their inner and outer beauty. Throughout the day, I had the privilege of hearing the empowering stories of these strong women. Melissa Ferguson's heartfelt testimonial, highlighting the importance of taking time to prioritize self-care and simply be present in one's own body. As a volunteer, I was humbled to play a small part in creating a space where these women could reclaim a sense. The impact of Hello Subaru of Temecula's partnership with Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center went far beyond just a single day; it serves as a reminder to the community that no one battling cancer should ever feel alone. Hello Subaru's commitment to ensuring these individuals feel seen and loved, regardless of their financial burdens, speaks volumes about the power of compassion and community in times of adversity. As the day drew to a close, I left with a heart full of gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that together, we had made a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

In a powerful initiative aimed at making a difference in the lives of families affected by domestic violence, Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with the Safe Family Justice Center in Temecula for the New Home Basket Initiative. Providing new home bins with essential items to support brave individuals, leaving an abusive environment with nothing but what is on their backs. The Safe Family Justice Center, known for its unwavering dedication to assisting domestic violence survivors, offers multiple services and programs, including shelter, safe planning, court preparation, and resource mapping. Their commitment to empowering individuals and families serves as a beacon of hope in the Temecula community. The journey of healing from domestic violence is both deeply personal and universally challenging. Survivors often carry the weight of their experiences long after they’ve exited the abusive situation. However, when healing trauma, there are pathways to recovery that lead to resilience, growth, and empowerment for these individuals. Hello Subaru of Temecula helpful staff helped assemble 40 bins filled with essential items. Each bin contains carefully selected necessities, including dishware sets for four, cleaning supplies, toiletries, a four set of towels, a blanket, a hairbrush, laundry detergent, hand soap, a “You Are Loved” sticker, and a candle to bring warmth in their new safe space. These items are designed to provide comfort and practical use to those starting anew. Hello Subaru of Temecula arrived at the Safe Family Justice Center facility to deliver the 40 bins. SFJC was beyond grateful for these bins and knew the impact these bins would have on so many families in need. The Hello staff were given a tour, learning more about the vital work being done to support domestic violence survivors. Marshall Hamilton, the Supervisor of SFJC, shared the impactful statistics and the significant difference that SFJC has made in the community in the last year. They have served over 3,851 victims, including 954 individuals under the age of 18, and provided 36,856 services. The center helped file over 1,130 restraining orders, accompanied 166 individuals to court proceedings and encouraged 217 youth to join their support programs. Help create safer and healthier communities for all. Through their partnership, Hello Subaru of Temecula and the Safe Family Justice Center worked together to help address the urgent needs of domestic violence survivors. By coming together to support these families, they offer not only material assistance but also fostering hope for a brighter future for many individuals. Hello Subaru of Temecula is proud to be able to make a real difference in the community.

Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center for their second annual Wellness Day for individuals impacted by cancer. This partnership resulted in a day of relaxation and empowerment for 40 incredibly strong women. Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center is in Temecula, CA, and extends its services to those in San Bernardino, Riverside, and North San Diego counties. It is a beacon of support for cancer patients, providing invaluable resources. They serve about 1,800 cancer patients with more than 11,000 free resources annually. From support groups and wig services to wellness classes and one-on-one assistance, Michelle's Place lives by the motto, "You are not alone." Hello Subaru of Temecula recognized the importance of supporting such a vital organization and decided to create a special day for those navigating the challenges of cancer. Michelle's Place stands as a testament to Michelle, a courageous young woman whose battle with breast cancer at the age of 26 inspired the creation of this community resource. Frustrated by the lack of local support during her journey, Michelle envisioned a place that would provide emotional comfort, a listening ear, and up-to-date information on treatment options. Tragically, she passed away on July 23, 2000, but her family, friends, and community kept the organization going. Michelle's vision of uplifting others in their cancer battles came true. South Coast Winery Resort & Spa helped make this extraordinary Wellness Day possible. The 40 deserving cancer patients were given the choice of a custom massage or a pedicure, along with a healthy lunch and full access to all the spa amenities in their facility. The goal was to provide a day of relaxation and offer a much-needed escape from their struggles. A day solely focused on the well-being of these strong and resilient individuals. Each participant received a butterfly-themed gift basket put together by Subaru volunteers. These baskets contained a butterfly cup, scented lavender candles, a butterfly "you are beautiful" sticker, a necklace to remind them of their inner and outer beauty, and a heartfelt thank-you card expressing gratitude for their presence at the Wellness Day. The Wellness Day became a platform for women to share their empowering stories. Melissa Ferguson, a former member of Michelle's Place, expressed the significance of the event, stating, "I don't spend that extra little money that I have to come and just hang out and have a wellness day at a spa to take time to just be present in my own body and to have this time to get a pedicure and just breathe." The testimonials show how this event went beyond being a wellness day; it became a day for these strong women to reclaim a sense of self. Cancer treatment costs, on average, more than $42,000 per year, depending on the level of health insurance. A total of 85% of patients leave work during initial treatment, and many use their savings within the first two years. Consequently, around 30% of Americans with a cancer history face challenges paying medical bills, resorting to borrowing money, or filing for bankruptcy due to these financial struggles. Hello Subaru of Temecula knew that these cancer patients would not necessarily spend money on themselves due to their financial burden. Hello Subaru wanted them to feel seen and loved despite that financial burden. Hello Subaru of Temecula's partnership with Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center is impactful to the community and individuals facing the challenges of cancer. This Wellness Day provided a day of escape and empowered these women to be themselves, reminding them of their strength and resilience.

This year, Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with Child and Youth in Transition program within the San Diego Unified School District for an event called "Warmth in the Winter." An event to give children and their families presents to help them this holiday season. San Diego Unified School District is the second largest district in the region, catering to over 121,000 students. Understanding the diverse challenges these students face, ranging from homelessness to military connections, foster care, refugee, immigrant backgrounds, and even those in juvenile justice facilities, the need for support and care becomes clear. Child and Youth in Transition serves as a vital support system, extending help to these students and their families during challenging times. Recognizing the necessities for the colder months, they highlighted needing jackets, gloves, beanies, toys, and gift cards to bring warmth and joy to families facing hardships. Hello Subaru of Temecula stepped forward contributing over 223 essential items. Hello Subaru arrived at the organization's facility in three vehicles filled with boxes. Among these contributions were puffer jackets, sports equipment like basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, toys like Barbie's and dolls, gloves, beanies, umbrellas, and 20 gift cards at $100 each from Target. The efforts of Hello Subaru of Temecula and Child and Youth in Transition are beyond material contributions but give a sense of belonging, care, and warmth within the San Diego community. Child and Youth in Transition were so grateful for this year's donations and expressed how much these families will appreciate these items. With Hello Subaru's great support, we were able to host our most successful Adopt A Family event we've had in many years. With their generous donation of jackets, gloves, beanies, and SO MANY TOYS, we were able to make gift baskets for more than 100 families experiencing housing insecurity. They also gave us many gift cards to Target, which allow our families to buy food and other necessities with dignity during the weeks school is off calendar. We keep our students' identities confidential, but we can assure you there were hundreds and hundreds of giant smiles and some tears of gratitude from parents who can breathe a little easier this holiday season. We cannot thank you enough for how you have supported our families in San Diego!!!

Hello Subaru of Temecula hosted its first ‘Hello Gives Thanks’ turkey drive. A collaboration between Hello Subaru and two local non-profit organizations, Safe Family Justice Center and the Veterans Village of San Diego. Hello Subaru gave over 200 meals to domestic violence victims, veterans, and their families. This initiative aimed to provide them with everything they needed this Thanksgiving to enjoy a homemade meal with their loved ones and create special memories together. On the event day, families lined up in their cars outside the dealership, where the Hello team gave groceries to over 50 families from the Safe Family Justice Center in Temecula. This organization helps individuals by providing advocacy and support services to those who have experienced domestic violence. The next day, the Hello Subaru team visited the Veterans Village of San Diego facility, and Ralph Ford, the executive chef, greeted them. Ralph gave the Hello team a tour of the kitchen facilities. He talked about the work VVSD does every year and how they help thousands of veterans reclaim their lives through programs that offer transitional and permanent housing, mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and employment training services. The Hello team and the kitchen staff began to unload over 100 turkeys and hams. The VVSD will use the turkeys and hams to feed our heroes on Thanksgiving Day and freeze the remaining meat for their Christmas meals. Places like VVSD rely on food donations to provide for our veterans. Continuing their outreach, the team headed to Escondido, distributing 52 Thanksgiving meals to apartments designated for veterans and their families. Understanding the significance of this support, larger families received two kits to ensure there was plenty of food, also received turkeys weighing over 20 pounds. Ralph Ford shared his perspective on the impact of these initiatives, especially for homeless veterans who visit their facilities and have not experienced a traditional Thanksgiving meal in years. He expressed the joy of witnessing the glow on their faces, knowing they had something special for the holidays. This Thanksgiving drive was not just about distributing meals; it was about building connections, fostering hope, and creating memories for those who need it most. Hello Subaru was proud to be able to impact the lives of over 375 people in their communities.

Subaru Share the Love Promise Fulfilled Hello Subaru of Temecula, along with Assistance League of Temecula Valley, made a powerful impact in the lives of identified low-income students in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District on the evening of September 26th. In May, representatives from Hello Subaru of Temecula, attended the Annual Luncheon for ALTV, and presented a generous check in support of Operation School Bell. These funds allowed ALTV to serve hundreds of children in Southwest Riverside County by providing school age children from low-income families with new school clothing. Families applied for Operation School Bell through their school district web site weeks before the event. On the designated evening, a long line of families and children in grades TK-12 assembled outside Target in Lake Elsinore, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to begin shopping for $125 worth of tax-free school clothing for each child. There was excitement in the air as parents planned their shopping and children made new friends with others in line. The families checked in with a three-step process, grabbed and shopping cart, and happily began looking for jeans, shirts, skirts, shoes, socks, dresses, underwear, sweatshirts, and jackets. An event of this size requires a small army of people to help, and members of Assistance League of Temecula Valley along with representatives from the Hello Auto Group, joined forces to staff tables, answer questions, help with shopping, translate forms, and assist with the check-out process. As each family reached the check-out counter at the end of the evening, it was heartwarming to see the excitement on the faces of the children as they watched their new shoes and clothing being bagged. Parents were extremely grateful for the opportunity to receive new clothing for their children at no cost, and their appreciation was evident as they expressed their thanks with warm smiles and calls of, “Thank you so much”, and “This is so helpful to our family”. Families filled out an Exit Interview form and here are a few comments from parents: “Thank you for this blessing. I’m now able to buy additional school clothes for my son.” “Thank you. We have a foster kid and this is a big help”. “We are extremely grateful for your program. My kids were so excited to go shopping, so thank you.” Each year Operation School Bell dressings are held from August to October and thousands of identified low-income students in the Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, and Romoland School Districts shop for new school clothing from local Target and Kohl’s stores. Studies have shown that children who feel confident about themselves will stay in school longer and are more likely to succeed. New school clothing purchased from the same places their peers shop contributes to a child’s self-confidence and willingness to participate. A program of this size takes a huge amount of funding and hundreds of hours of volunteer time. We are extremely grateful to Hello Subaru for selecting Assistance League of Temecula Valley as one of the recipients of the Subaru Share the Love Promise. Subaru and ALTV share many of the same goals. We both believe in being a positive force in our community to make it a better place for all. We both believe in being actively involved in solving challenges. It was wonderful to see so many ALTV members and Subaru employees taking part in this event and being a role model for effective leadership and change. Thank you, Hello Subaru of Temecula Valley for joining forces with Assistance League to “Share the Love” in our community through Operation School Bell.

The operation School Bell event coordinated by Assistance League of Temecula was an amazing initiative supporting over 2,000 low-income students from five school districts: Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, and Romoland. Hello Subaru of Temecula raised over $25,000 from the Share the Love initiative from the previous year which helps fund these events. The event took place at Target in Lake Elsinore. Each student was given an allowance of $125 to spend on new clothes. For many of these children, it was their first experience with brand-new clothing. The smiles on the children's faces as they left the store with their new clothes was a heartfelt experience for everyone involved. This year, Hello Subaru of Temecula had gone above and beyond to support Operation School Bell. Hello Subaru team, volunteered to help translate for families, and helped with the survey check-out line. It was truly an incredible event to be a part of, and to see the children's faces light up with excitement as they picked out their new clothes. This event was about giving children the confidence and resources they needed to succeed in school.

Warfighter Made is a veteran founded non profit in Temecula, California. We are dedicated to improving the mental health of military service members, veterans, and their families through Recreational Therapy, Camaraderie Therapy, STEM educational youth programs , and family oriented events that promote connection and healing. This summer, we had 10 youth students, ages 8-12, enrolled in our B.O.L.T.(Building Offroad Leaders of Tomorrow) Youth Program. These students are the children of military families. Over the 8 weeks, they learn how to repair and maintain a Polaris 170 offroad machine as well as drive the vehicle safely and responsibly. They are taught the importance of respecting ecosystems and how to be leaders in this initiative. On September 16th, the students of the B.O.L.T. program graduated at our Adrenaline Therapy Saturday event. We are so happy that Hello Subaru of Temecula decided to be a part of this event! It was awesome that they came out to support us and even brought a Subaru out for everyone to see. They jumped right in to help and encourage the kids along side us. Having the support of such a generous company makes it possible for us to continue doing what we do for our military community. Together, we CAN make a positive impact on communities, families, and individuals. A great deal of THANKS goes out to Jessica for all the support she and her team brought to the day. We appreciate you!

Hello Subaru of Temecula partnered with Warfighter Made to support our heroes who have done so much for our country. Warfighter Made's mission is to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families in impactful ways. They do most of this through Recreational Therapy. Recreational Therapy provides an escape from life's daily challenges through Polaris RZRs. Some vehicles are specially adapted for those with catastrophic injuries. These thrilling rides are not just about adventure; they are about improving the quality of life and mental health and bringing families closer in a fun and positive environment. Warfighter Made encourages veterans from all branches and eras to come together. This program built confidence, created a support network, improved communication skills, and provided a safe space to manage stressors related to Post Traumatic Stress. Recreational Therapy Retreats invited ill, injured, and combat-wounded veterans to participate in recreational therapy retreats. These retreats provided enjoyment and brought families closer in a supportive way. Warfighter Made also ran a STEM educational program for the children of veterans. This program taught students character development traits and the importance of respecting the environment. They were taught to protect ecosystems and preserve trails and parks for future generations. Warfighter Made organized an event called "Adrenaline Therapy." This event brought veterans and their families together for a day of off-roading excitement. Hello Subaru of Temecula saw an opportunity to support this incredible initiative. They became a sponsor and donated over $2,000 to ensure the event's success. Hello Subaru set up a booth at the event, ready to show their unwavering support for these brave men and women. The kids who were part of the STEM program proudly showed up with their families and personal Polaris RZRs. The program taught these kids how to change tires, check engines, and work on their own Polaris RZRs. The veterans, accustomed to adrenaline from their service days, found a new purpose and excitement in off-roading. This event helped them cope with their PTSD and regain confidence as they fearlessly navigated the challenging terrain in their Polaris RZRs. Hello Subaru of Temecula brought along a Subaru Wilderness Outback, a car known for its off-roading capabilities, and displayed it proudly by their booth. They even took the Subaru Outback out on the track to showcase its skills. It was clear that Hello Subaru of Temecula had found a place in the hearts of the Warfighter Made community. Everyone had a blast, and more importantly, they created lasting memories and provided hope and healing for those who had given so much to protect their country. In the end, the partnership between Hello Subaru of Temecula and Warfighter Made was more than just a sponsorship; it was a testament to the power of compassion, camaraderie, and the adventure in bringing people together and making a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much.

Once a year, Subaru enthusiasts from all corners of southern California gather for Subiefest, the ultimate Subaru event. This event is more than just a car show; it celebrates a shared passion for everything Subaru. The team had set up a game with everyone having fun and a chance to interact with the staff, the spin the wheel challenge. The Hello Subaru team helped collect 300 backpacks and donated to the Temecula Valley Unified School District the previous year. This year, their goal was even higher – they aimed to almost double their impact by donating 500 backpacks and extending their support to not just one but two local school districts; Temecula Valley Unified School and the Romoland Elementary School. Hello Subaru of Temecula is a place where it's more than just a place to buy cars; it was a hub of compassion and kindness for the community it served. Inspired by the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, Hello Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. LLS connected Hello Subaru of Temecula with a local hospital called Loma Linda University Medical Center. Hello Subaru has connected with LLS and Loma Linda in the past and has built such an excellent relationship for the past five years. The team at Hello Subaru was dedicated to giving back to the community and ensuring that every cancer patient felt supported throughout their challenging journey. Hello Subaru displayed information about LLS and Subaru Loves to Care® in their showroom. They invited customers and community members to participate by writing messages of hope on blank hearts, which would be given to cancer patients along with blankets and kits. They wrote touching messages of hope, knowing their words would comfort the brave patients at Loma Linda. "You are not alone," "Your strength inspires us all," and "Sending you love and healing" were just a few of the heartfelt messages etched on the blank hearts. During the event, they gave the Hello Subaru staff a hospital tour, sharing how Loma Linda University Medical Center provided invaluable resources and support to cancer patients: over 80 blankets and ten patient care kits. Hello Subaru has donated over 400 blankets and 50 patient care kits in the past five years. Eddie G.
My name is Eddie, and I am a Service Technician at Hello Subaru of Temecula. I recently went through a challenging situation with my 2012 STI hatchback as it spun a bearing unexpectedly. At that time, I had just bought a house, and just a month later, my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world. I was unsure how I could afford the repairs with the engine failure. Selling the car seemed like the only option, although it held significant sentimental value to me. The STI was not just any car to me; it symbolized personal achievement. Growing up in poverty, I dreamed of owning a car like the STI. When I finally managed to buy it, it was a significant milestone in my life. My mother was proud of me for accomplishing this dream, and it held immense sentimental value for my entire family. When I shared the devastating news about my car with Magaly, the General Manager, and Joe, the VP of Operations at Hello Subaru of Temecula, I had no idea what could be done. But to my surprise, they went above and beyond to help me. Magaly managed to secure the necessary parts for the repairs, and she did something truly extraordinary. She allowed me to work on my car between other service appointments, relieving me of the burden of labor costs. I cannot express how grateful I am for the support and assistance I received from Hello Subaru. Not only did they help me fix my vehicle, but they also provided tremendous assets to my family. They understood the significance of the car in my life and went out of their way to ensure that I didn't have to part with it. Hello Subaru of Temecula, especially Magaly, Joe, and my Service Manager demonstrated exceptional kindness and understanding. They not only helped me with my car but also played a part in preserving the pride and joy my family and I had in that vehicle. I hope they understand their generosity's profound impact on me and my loved ones. Thank you, Hello Subaru of Temecula, for going the extra mile and showing that you genuinely care about your employees. You didn't just fix a car; you restored a piece of my life, dreams, and family's happiness. I will forever be grateful for your incredible support when I needed it the most.

In honor of Subaru Loves to Care®, Hello Subaru of Temecula, met with leadership and administration of Loma Linda University Medical Center-- Murrieta Cancer Program providing blankets and cards of encouragement for cancer patients. Traditionally these have been excellent gifts for any type of cancer patient situation because they often represent warmth and comfort during a distressing time. These gifts have been an incredible blessing to those served by the Loma Linda Murrieta Cancer Program over the past few years. Whether handing blankets to patients in the chilly waiting room before radiation therapy or to newly diagnosed cancer patients waiting to hear about the next steps in their treatment plans; these blankets have signified warmth, comfort, and something tangible that can be gripped in time of distress. Additionally, the words of encouragement handwritten by Subaru customers have provided strength and support to cancer patients attending support groups, cancer screening and prevention events, and those seeking care at Loma Linda University Medical Center-- Murrieta. It is truly and honor to partner with Hello Subaru of Temecula to bestow these tangible gifts to cancer patients in this community.

They could feed more children, provide more counseling, support more shelters, or start more movements. By using the power of the sun, Everybody Solar is helping local communities thrive. Hello Subaru of Temecula wanted to give back to the community in a meaningful way in connection with Subaru Loves to Help®. The staff at Hello Subaru of Temecula was proud to host their first Wellness Day Event in partnership with Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center. On February 16th, the Hello team gave back to the local community of cancer patients by giving them a day of wellness and pampering. In the United States alone, over 5% percent of people will experience cancer during their lifetime. For most individuals living with cancer, they go through changes such as hair loss, skin changes, and more, due to drastic life changes, radiation, and chemotherapy. Michelle’s Place is a non-profit cancer resource center located in the Temecula Valley that gives resources to families dealing with cancer such as support groups, wigs, therapies and more. By partnering with Michelle’s place and with the help of a local Temecula Spa, the Hello team was able to provide over 40 cancer patients with their choice of a massage or mani/pedi. This gave these cancer patients the opportunity to feel beautiful in their own skin and have a day to feel refreshed and forget about the hardships they may be facing. The spa also provided each of the participants with an all-day pass giving them access to amenities such as the steam room, sauna, and beverages, so they can have a complete day of relaxation. The Hello team received many testimonies and tears from many of the participants on how this day helped them forget that they are a cancer patient, a mom, a wife, daughter and gave them the opportunity to just be themselves, have fun, and while spending time with others who became family during their journey and are going through similar life stories. At the end, the Hello team also provided the participants with a gift box full of relaxing goodies such as a candle, bath bomb, and more. Being able to support the local community and people who need a day of wellness warms the hearts of the Hello team and they are so grateful to be able to give back to those who need it.

The team at Hello Subaru of Temecula are overjoyed about how successful the Spark of Love Toy Drive went this year. Southern California firefighters are celebrating the 30th year of the spark of Love Toy Drive. Such a great organization the local Fire Department and ABC7 have organized together and Hello Subaru is honored to be a part of it. Subaru Team help collect over 200 unwrapped presents. This is their favorite project each year, to be able to give kids a smile on their face like they have never had before with a gift is priceless. It’s important because in today’s age, not every child gets presents for Christmas. Our community serves hundreds of families through different toy drives. They help parents and grandparents by removing that stress of not being able to give presents this year changes through the help of toy drives, that is rewarding enough for the Hello team. Hello Subaru of Temecula greatly appreciates everyone support over the years to continue to give back and looks forward to continuing to grow their relationship with the community.

Subaru as a brand and company has a very strong presence in the Off-Road community. Everyone at the event was happy to see Hello Subaru of Temecula there showing their support! The general manager, Magaly Rivera, met so many people who currently owned a Subaru! It’s been 9 years since Kurt Caselli passed away, on November 15th, 2013, in Pala, CA. The focus of the foundation is the safety of riders and racers in the off-road motorcycle industry. While we all understand the inherent elements of danger in this industry, they aim to help minimize this danger to the best of their ability. The foundation has a three-part mission that encompasses safety precautions for riders before, during, and after a racing career. Winston, an American Bulldog came into Animal Friends of the Valleys a non-profit animal shelter located in southwest riverside County, California in late February of 2022. He was a very disabled dog with hip dysplasia, knee problems and excessive thirst. AFV nurtured him as best they could. After a few weeks at the shelter, staff reached out to all fosters to see who could take him in until enough money was raised for surgeries. He was able to get around but needed the surgeries to help him thrive. Rocky Kanaka a animal foster stepped in to help Winston. He is an animal influencer and has over 1 million online followers. He was able to raise enough money for both surgeries and was able to keep him during his recuperation period. Rocky along with the shelter were able to help Winston find a loving and forever home this past October. This was during the Share the Love Campaign with Subaru and the ASPCA. Hello Temecula Subaru is the local Subaru dealership that help Fund Winston's care. Please see the pictures and video below. Thank you to Hello Subaru of Temecula for joining hands with the Assistance League. This year was the first time I have participated in the shopping event and was extremely impressed with it. Because of their generosity we were able to go back to school shopping with my two kids and was also able to purchase of a brand new homecoming dress for my daughter. It was such a blessing being able to purchase basic needs for the kids and was a huge weight off a newly single mom's shoulders. Thank you again to HELLO SUBARU of Temecula!

Assistance League of Temecula Valley is extremely grateful for the very generous support of Hello Subaru of Temecula. Your donation from the Share the Love campaign will enable Assistance League to clothe hundreds of identified low-income children through our Operation School Bell® philanthropic program with $125 worth of brand-new school clothes and shoes from our local Target and Kohl’s stores. The children attend dedicated evening “dressing events” with their parents and choose school appropriate clothing. The parents are very grateful, and many tell us that these are the first new pieces of clothing their child has ever had; they always wore hand-me-downs from older siblings, family friends or cousins. The smiles and joy on the faces of the children and their families as they leave the store with their bags of new clothing, is etched in the hearts of everyone who helps at the dressings. We could not do what we do without the assistance of Hello Subaru. Your support not only clothes the children, but it enhances their self-esteem, encourages regular school attendance and thus, promotes learning. In this way the impact of your generosity spreads throughout the child’s academic career and has a positive impact on the child’s family. The corporate cultures of Hello Subaru and Assistance League of Temecula Valley align in many ways. We both believe in helping our community, not just through donations but also by actions. We both share a passion for volunteering, and we look forward to seeing Hello Subaru’s employees, management, and staff at the dressings each year, thus setting an example of positive actions and commitment to our community. We love that our relationship with Subaru is long term; we have been partners in serving the greater Temecula area since 2007, and your support during this past decade and a half has had a tremendous impact on thousands of lives in our area. The children who step into the classroom neatly dressed because of your partnership, are more self-confident and are ready to learn. Through your generosity, you have helped set them up for success as a student, as a member of their school community, and in the future, as a contributing member of society. Thank you, Hello Subaru, for your continued support in partnering with Assistance League of Temecula Valley, and for your unwavering commitment to our community. Mary Murphy, President Assistance League of Temecula Valley

Hello Subaru of Temecula's sponsorship and support was a key factor in achieving our goal to provide annual maintenance for our off leash area at Live Oak Park, which is enjoyed by many citizens and dogs alike. Fallbrook is an unincorporated area so we do not have a city to support our dog park and it is up to our local citizens to be responsible for $25.08 per day (or over $9,000 per year) to the County of San Diego Rec. and Park Dept. for operation and maintenance costs annually to keep our off leash area open throughout the year. Hello Subaru of Temecula has assisted us in reaching our goal again this year! They bring so much to our event. This year Hello Subaru had two vehicles on display for the public to view as well as their Subaru camping trailer parked at the booth. Kevin Ohler, Director of Marketing, has always been a pleasure and very easy to work with on our events. We hope to work with Kevin in the future! It is because of Hello's generosity, participation, and enthusiasm that we are able to provide a quality event that continues to grow and help maintain our DOG PARK! Subaru certainly does Love Pets! We thank and appreciate you so much! Sincerely, Anne Richter, Bark in the Park 2022 Co-chair The Fallbrook Dog Park Committee has established a 501(c)3 non-profit with our tax ID #85-3938926.

Dear Subaru Partners: Thank you for your generosity, commitment, and enthusiasm in supporting families and children battling domestic violence. You have stood with us to build a playground for our residential shelter, but your support and donations has accomplished so much more. Playgrounds provide an outlet and healing tool uniquely designed to confront the specific traumas of children exposed to violence. Play is proven to be therapeutic for children who are emotionally distressed from traumatic situations like child abuse, family disruptions and/or the experience of natural disaster or war. Studies show that when playing, children can release emotions and “play out” their traumas so they can share feelings freely. A playground, especially in our environment , offers countless benefits that improve quality of life for children now and for the rest of their lives. Your dealership's role in this healing process is a coveted privilege. On behalf of every client who may take refuge on our grounds, Alternatives to Domestic Violence thanks you. Your generosity has created a partnership in healing and support that will change our community for the better. Alternatives to Domestic Violence has a corporate mission to supporting these families, and supportive efforts like yours ensures that we can be as effective as possible. Your partnership in this effort is much appreciated.

Since 2007, Temecula Subaru and Assistance League of Temecula Valley have partnered with Subaru of Temecula and have made a tremendous impact on thousands of at-risk families in Southwest Riverside County. Our philanthropic programs benefit local children and families in the Temecula Valley and surrounding areas. During the past years, Temecula Subaru, with the help of loyal customers, have donated over $214,250. That is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We are so, so, so very excited and extremely appreciative of that support. We are a nonprofit service organization of volunteers committed to identifying and serving the needs of the Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Romoland communities through five philanthropic programs developed and administered by its members. Operation School Bell, its main philanthropic program, identifies low-income school children (K-12) in the five school districts within their service area. Students have the opportunity to shop in the same retail environment as their peers and are allowed to choose their school appropriate clothing and shoes. To quote a young student who was leaving the department store with his bag full of new clothes and shoes, “This is the best day of my life!” This is a perfect example of how businesses and volunteers can work together to provide for those in need! Assistance League of Temecula Valley is very grateful to be among the recipients of this campaign. Electra Demos Assistance League Past President/Community Ambassador.

“This is Sugar, a 4-year-old American Bully female who stole the hearts of everyone here at the Animal Friends of the Valleys shelter in October 2021! Due to her breed, as well as her very strong physique and facial scars, we felt Sugar was definitely an "underdog" as she intimidated people at first glance. Bully breeds are often some of the most difficult to adopt out due to the stigma attached to their names. Sugar, on the other hand, defied all stereotypes. The opposite of a “bully,” a sweetheart with a gentle loving soul, Sugar was always so happy to meet new people and animals alike. Finally, after spending weeks at our shelter, she was adopted out only days after we made a post on her! We are always so ecstatic to see our underdogs get the love and second chances they deserve.” A special thank you to Hello Subaru of Temecula, the ASPCA and the Subaru Loves Pets Progam. It has been a pleasure working with you over the last several years. Beth SoltysiakDirector of DevelopmentAnimal Friends of the Valleys
